
The mission of the City of Groton Farmers’ Market is to provide a venue in our neighborhood park of The City of Groton for local farmers and artisans to sell their produce and products directly to the diverse and integrated community in southeastern Connecticut. Our aim is to make accessible, affordable, healthy, locally produced food available to our community in Groton.
The City of Groton Farmer’s Market is primarily an agricultural market but also
provides a variety of local baked goods, seafood/fish, meats, poultry/eggs.
Grown products sold at the market must be grown in Connecticut Foods and food
products must be identified as organic, or not, and include place of origin.
All meats, poultry and seafood will come from local sources.
The City of Groton Farmers’ Market hold two separate seasons - our flagship Farmers’ Market season held weekly during the summer and early fall, and five Pop-up Farmers’ Markets held once a month during the late fall/ winter months.
2023 Farmers’ Market June-October Season
The 2023 Farmers’ Market regular season runs from Mid-June through October, held each Tuesday from
3-6pm at the corner of Mitchell and Meridian Streets in Washington Park. All vendors must be set up and ready to sell by 2:30 pm. The first Market will be held on Tuesday, June 13 and the Market will run weekly until Tuesday, October 31.
